Title of the Talk: Architecting Trust: Harmonising Enterprise Data and LLMs through In-Database Vector Search

Abstract:
This session explores how AI Vector Search bridges the gap between structured business data and unstructured information like documents, images, and audio. We will examine how a converged database approach eliminates data fragmentation and enables mission-critical AI applications with 99.99%+ uptime requirements. The Power of Convergence: Why storing vector embeddings alongside relational data is transformative for enterprise architecture. Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG): How to ground LLMs in private data to ensure real-time accuracy and security. Semantic vs. Keyword Search: Moving beyond exact matches to understanding user intent through multidimensional mathematical representations.Practical Use Cases: Real-world applications from Fortune 500 deployments in fraud detection, personalised recommendations, and advanced document analysis. Performance Optimisation: Lessons learned from implementing AI-powered database systems at enterprise scale
